FIRE CERTIFICATION IN RUSSIA
 Obligatory "System of Fire safety certification" in Russia (SSPB) operates on the basis of next legal and normative acts.
- Federal law from December 21, 1994, No 69-FL "Fire certification safety law".
- The executive order of President of Russian Federation from November 9, 2001, No 1309 "The executive order of improvement of state administration in area of fire safety".
- Russian emergency ministry’s regulation act from June 18, 2003, No 312 "Procedures and rules of fire certification".
- Russian emergency ministry’s regulation act from Jule 8, 2002, No 320 “List of materials, equipment and goods which are subject to an obligatory fire certification in the SSPB system”.
 Materials, equipment and goods which are subject to an obligatory fire certification:
- Facilities, which provide fire safety;
- Matters and materials;
- Build constructions and wares;
- cable and electric devices;
- heat sources.
 In case, if products are subject to an obligatory fire certification safety system, certificate of fire safety is inalienable part of GOST R certificate.

GOST R AND FIRE CERTIFICATION FEATURES OF CABLE SERIAL PRODUCTION
An obligatory GOST R certification of cable serial production and Fire certification is executed with the audit of factory and verification of producer quality system management. This requirement is obligatory and it is set in GOST R and Fire certification rules of electrical equipment.
If a producer gives the detailed package of documents for the quality management system, it is possible to execute the audit of production on the basis of documents without experts departure to a factory.
Power cables, control cables, telephonic, fiber-optic, signal cables are obligatory certificated in Fire Certification Safety System. In GOST R system only power cables are obligatory certificated.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY IN TELECOM SYSTEM
If copper twist pair or fiber optic cable is used for connection of equipment for telecoms operators or providers, then for conformity assessment it is necessary to have conformity declaration, which is registered by federal Telecommunication agency.
Сommunication cables are not subject of an obligatory GOST R certification system. However, the manufacturers of cable production must often confirm that electric, mechanical and other characteristics of producible cables and correspond certain standards. To confirm such accordance is possible by cable facultative GOST R certification.
Our GOST R certification body provides cable voluntary GOST R certification, cables for local network system, for norm accordance, which can be chosen by a declarant in his own way. Or, for the aims of voluntary certification it is possible to use requirements, which are set in normative documents for an obligatory GOST R certification.
