FIRE SAFETY CERTIFICATE
Our certification body is always specialized in complex service by production conformity assessment. Rules and production conformity assessment conditions are essentially changed In the 1-st of May of this year. Now it is obligatory to get Fire safety certificate for the custom house and for putting this production on Russian market. The situation is the same as with GOST R certificates.
NEW FIRE SAFETY DIRECTIVE (REGLAMENT)
New Federal law is set from 01.05. 2009 "Technical directive (reglament) about fire safety demands". Fire safety demands of production certification are essentially changed, according to this law. The first modification concerns of obligatory Fire Safety certification schemes. Now all Fire Safety certification schemes are in consummated law, including audit conditions, samples testing, document recognition, which corroborate conformity and these Fire safety certification schemes are different if compare them with previous ones. This directive (reglament) consists of 7 conformity assessment schemes: declaration is three of them, obligatory Fire safety certification is 4 of them. Consignment consists of 3 conformity assessment schemes: declaration is 2 of them, and 1 scheme is certification.
New Fire directive (reglament) consists of such conformity assessment schemes which can be used for confirmation of definite production kind.
The declarant can replace Declaration by obligatory certification. Fire safety Certification and Declaration valid time is no more than 5 years.
Production, which is certificated and declared obligatory must have marking, which proves conformity directive (reglament).
PRODUCTION LIST, WHICH IS THE SUBJECT FOR OBLIGATORY FIRE SAFETY CERTIFICATION
The second step is the resolution from 17.03. 2009 г, № 241 "About production list affirmation, which is for the custom house apartments. These apartments give the possibility for alienation or for production usage according to this production destination on custom house territory of Russian Federation. It is the subject for obligatory conformity assessment . Fire safety certificate is necessary to get not only for the market, but also for the custom house, according to this resolution.
FIRE SAFETY CERTIFICATE AND DECLARATION
The third step is that the production which is the subject for the obligatory conformity assessment , is divided into 2 groups: production, which is the subject for obligatory Fire Safety certification and production, which is the subject for obligatory conformity declaration. So the procedure which is harmonized with European approach is appeared along with Fire Safety certificate, according to which the manufacturer approves by himself the conformity of his production to demands of real directive (reglament) by acceptance of declaration conformity.
Only company, which is registered on the territory of Russian Federation can be the Declarant. This company has functions of foreign manufacturer (seller) and also accounts for mentioned demands breach.
