MARKING OF PRODUCTION BY CONFORMITY GOST R CERTIFICATION MARK AT CERTIFICATION IN RUSSIA

According to legal texts of GOST R in Russia

The General rules of marking of a GOST R conformity certification mark and the requirements to a quality of its image are established by decisions of GOST R certification in Russia from February, 16th, 1994, N 3 and from September, 21st, 1994, N 15.

Conformity GOST R certification mark puts on nonremovable part of each unit of certified production and (or) on each packing unit of this production near the trade mark of the manufacturer, on the accompanying engineering specifications on a free floor, as a rule, in a place where data on GOST R certification of production are resulted. Conformity GOST R certification mark puts completely according to its image established in the system of GOST R certification in Russia. At impossibility of marking of the mark image conformity on production (in particular, for gaseous, liquid and loose materials and substances, or because of lack of a place) it puts on the container (packing) or on the accompanying documentation.

Marking of production by conformity GOST R certification mark should be carried out only by the persons who are responsible for this by the holder of the GOST R certificate or holder of declaration. The Product is the carrier of conformity GOST R certification mark and fixes on production or tape in the way of excluding an opportunity of contest of an accessory of this product to marked production and an opportunity of secondary use of a product-carrier of conformity GOST R certification mark.

If the concrete units of production don’t conform to the obligatory requirements and presence of an opportunity of its use by the other purpose, supposing such discrepancy, marking of production by GOST R conformity certification mark, is not spent. If marking of such production was carried out during technological process, marking should be removed.

PROTECTION OF CONSUMERS LAW

"In Russian Federation law from February, 7th, 1992 N 2300-1 "About consumerism" following changes are made from December, 21st, 2004. According article 10, the information about goods (works, services) without fail should contain:

• The name of the technical rules or others, which is established by the legislation of Russian Federation of technical regulation and testifying about obligatory acknowledgement of goods conformity;
• the information about obligatory acknowledgement of goods conformity (works, services), which is pointed in the present law of item 4 of the article 7.

GENERAL MARKETING RULES OF PRODUCTION BY INFORMATION FOR CONSUMERS

The Information for the consumer, given directly with the concrete goods, make out on Russian language. The information can be in full or in part duplicate on foreign languages, and also by demand of the customer in state languages of Russian Federation entities and native languages of people of Russian Federation.

The information for the consumer of concrete goods should contain following data:

1. Description of goods;
2. Description of the country of origin;
3. Name of firm-manufacturer (name of firm-manufacturer can be in addition designated by letters of the Latin alphabet);
4. Basic (or functional) applicability of goods or area of its application
5. Rules and conditions of safe storage, transportation, safe and effective utilization, repair, restoration, recycling, a burial place, destruction (if necessary);
6. Basic consumer properties or characteristics;
7. Information about obligatory GOST R or other certification;
8. Legal address of the manufacturer and (or) the seller;
9. Net weight, basic sizes, volume or quantity;
10. Structure (completeness);
11. Trade mark (commodity mark) of manufacturer (in the presence);
12. Date of manufacturing;
13. Keeping time (or services);
14. Designation of normative or technical documentation by which the goods (for the goods of domestic production) is made;
15. Information about voluntary certification (in the presence);
16. Information about conformity GOST R certification of state standards goods (on a voluntary basis);
17. Bar code of goods (in the presence);
18. Specific information for the consumer (if necessary).

Notes: Sub items 1-8 are obligatory for the instruction of manufacturers and (or) sellers.
